Godhumai Sweet Seedai
Sedai is a traditional snack that is very famous in South India. Sedai is mainly prepared during Sri Krishna Jayanthi.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 cupSugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 tablespoon
Milk - 2 tablespoon
Oil - for frying
Sesame - 1 tablespoon
Preparation:
Take a bowl and add wheat flour, ghee, milk, sesame and mix well. Now add powdered sugar and mix well by adding a little water to making it like a dough.
Make small balls from the dough and keep that aside.
Turn on the flame and heat oil. Now add the balls once the oil is hot. Once it turns golden brown color turn off the heat. Take the balls from the oil and keep that in kitchen tissue to observe the excess oil. Now serve the Gothumai Sweet Sedai.
