Rava Kaara Sedai
Sedai is a famous snack in Tamil Nadu. It is made especially during Sri Krishna Jayanthi. But usually, sedai is made of rice flour but in this recipe, we are using Rava or Sooji which makes it even crispier and tasty.
Ingredients:
Rava or Sooji - 1 cup
Shredded Coconut -1/4 cup
Jeera - 1 tablespoon
Pepper Powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt - as required
Oil - for frying
Ghee - 2 tablespoon
Preparation:
Take the Rava in a bowl and add all the other ingredients such as shredded coconut, jeera, pepper powder, ghee, and salt as required and mix well. Add little water and mix that into a dough.
Make small balls from the dough and keep that aside. Turn on the heat and keep the oil for heating.
Once the oil is ready fry the balls on a medium flame so that the balls will be cooked nicely. Wait till the balls turn golden brown. Once it is ready take that from the oil and serve hot.
