Vallarai Keerai Dosai Recipe

Vallarai Keerai is considered a medicinal plant in Ayurveda. It is consumed by our ancestors to have a healthy lifestyle. It will be good if we add this to our diet once a week. Vallarai is good for many diseases and it is very good for memory power.


Ingredients:

Raw rice - 1 cup

Urad Dal - 1/4 cup

Green moong Dal - 1/4 cup

Vallarai Keerai - 1 cup

Salt - as required

Dry Chillies - 2

Ginger - 2-inch piece

Curry leaves - as required


Preparation:

Take a bowl and add raw rice, Urad Dal, Green Moong Dal together. Wash the mixture and soak for 4 hours.

After 4 hours grind the mixture in a mixer. Now wash the Vallarai Keerai and add that to a mixer. Add salt to the mixture and grind well. Adjust salt to your taste.

Turn on the heat and place a pan. Add the oil once the pan is hot. Add the dry Chillies, ginger, curry leaves, and some urad Dal for tempering.

Once it is fried turn off the heat and adds this tempering to the dosa mixture.

Heat the Tawa. Once it is hot, apply oil in the Tawa and pour the mixture like dosa. When one side is done flip it to another side to cook.

Once it is cooked serve it with some chutney if you want or it can be served without chutney also.
